Welcome To Scouting In Kingstone

The Scout Association Aim.

The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The Method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.

About Kingstone Scout Group

Kingstone Scout Group consists of 2 sections – a Cub Scout Section and a Scouts Section. It is the only Scout Group in the whole of the Golden Valley area and as such, draws in young people from as far as Ewyas Harold, Pontrilas, Peterchurch, Madley, Preston-on-Wye and the surrounding areas etc.

We aim to provide a varied programme of activities for all our young people which is tightly based on the Scout Association national programme. All our leaders are unpaid volunteers.
